Aloe Vera in skin care should be the basis of all face care
Why? Because there is no reason to make a product with water when Aloe Vera adds so many benefits.
I have chosen Aloe Vera to be the basis of all my products I created because Aloe Vera is Awesome. You might not think so because it is not the new sexy ingredient, but it has been around for a long time for good reasons.
Why is Aloe Vera in skin care the best thing Ever?
Aloe Vera is an Anti Inflammatory soothing Sensitive Skin
The main reason why you would choose a skin care product with Aloe Vera is if you have sensitive skin. Skin care products should not irritate your skin. Aloe Vera is a natural anti inflammatory. The chemical Alkaline phosphatase works to reduce inflammation when applied topically. Other constituents like Auxins and gibberellins of Aloe Vera help in wound healing and have anti-inflammatory actions as well.
People with sensitive skin reacts to toxic chemicals in products. Best thing to do is only apply natural ingredients to your skin. Keep in mind, if you can not pronounce or eat it, don’t put it on your skin. I am happy to say, Aloe Vera is great to consume every day.
Other Benefits of Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera contains 75 potentially active constituents: vitamins, enzymes, minerals, sugars, salicylic acids, amino acids etc.1 This powerful statement comes from a scientific review called Aloe Vera valuable multi functional cosmetic ingredient.
- Aloe Vera is full of antioxidants working to fight off free radicals that contribute to premature aging
- It is full of vitamins A, C, and E, which are necessary for good skin health.
- It has salicylic acid which has potent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It kills the acne causing bacteria making it a perfect ingredient for acne prone skin
- Aloe Vera adds in moisturizing your skin keeping the skin hydrated.
Aloe Vera used in Burns
I think most people know that Aloe Vera can quickly soothe a burn by experience. Best way to use Aloe Vera is to keep a plant handy in your home. If a burn occurs, slice a piece off, and skin it so you can use the gel inside of the plant. Then just rub it on the affected area. Simple but very effective. I like to add a little lavender essential oil to aid in healing. If you don’t have a green thumb, just carry a bottle of Aloe Vera gel in your refrigerator and use it the same way.
Other Ways to use Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has been used for centuries to improve digestive issues. Its anti inflammatory properties aid in soothing the inside tissues along your alimentary tract. What I found most interesting, is Aloe Vera contains all of the Amino Acids including the essential ones that your body does not produce. Amino acids are the building blocks to proteins. The health of your skin structure depends on proteins. Pretty Amazing! Knowing this, I like to take a gulp of it every day.
Aloe Vera in ZenJenSkin care products
Almost every product I produce starts with an Aloe Vera base. Whether it is my Itch Ease, Natzema used to sooth irritated skin or any of my face care products, it is the first ingredient because like I said, why use water when Aloe Vera is so much more amazing.
